It's bigger on the inside! Well it seems like it, I transitioned from a freezer on the bottom french door style fridge to this nice sleek side by side. I have more freezer space, got a 20lb turkey in the fridge over CHristmas - so plenty of space. I like the drawers - i consider them a weak spot in most fridges because they crack and break, but the 2 drawers seem sturdy, and are holding up well. This is my first stainless applience, which does gather the finger prints, but they DO wipe off easily with a micro fiber cloth. Ice machine works great. Over all I really like it.

This is the best refridgerator I've ever owed. There is a lot of room in both the refriderator & freezer. the cooling is easy to adjust. The only thing I miss, would be a water dispenser. It is very easy to clean.

i bought this refrigerator for space convenience and economy, and to tell the truth i was impressed with the ability to store everything i need. i just wanted a refrigerator that was spacious, modern, and in the same vein as samsung so that it would not be aesthetically out of step with the stove i had previously purchased from the brand. the design is charming as its minimalist design makes it look very modern and the black steel color makes it look very elegant. i decided on this model because it is precisely the space that i have for a refrigerator, and i did not want it to protrude from the counter and that is why i chose it that way.

This fridge is very loud and makes a lot of different noises despite us not even having the ice maker hooked up. Items including meat, eggs, and leafy greens freeze in the refrigerator constantly despite its "All Around Cooling" feature. The app only lets you know if the fridge door is open, not the freezer. Also arrived missing parts.

The fridge has more space inside than expected. The lights are nice and gright so I can see things way in the back behind my leftovers. This is our first stainless appliance as we were concerned about cleaning with small children. As our kids are older now we decided to try it and we are suprised at how easy it is to keep fingerprints off the surface of this fridge. I am confused as the the "smart" featurs of this fridge, it seems expensive and excessive to add wifi and an app to just be able to change the temperature of the fridge and freezer. We typically just set the temp when we get a new fridge and never touch it again. . I only have 2 small complaints about this fridge, the shelves are fixed so I can't rearrange them when needed and I feel they should include a sccop for the ice maker, we are just using and old plastic measuring cup currently.

I desperately needed a new refrigerator. I looked at a lot with bottom freezers, but I realized they just didn't hold enough for my family. This side by side is perfect. Plenty of room and it's countertop depth. We did manage to scratch it already with a magnet. I'm kind of upset by that. It's the only fault with it -that it scratched so easily. It's not even a month old.

Let's start with the design Cool modern sleek design it claims finger resistant stainless steel so to test their claim I would rest my whole hand on the door. Take it away and then look for my big hand print. unfortunately after testing this multiple times I could not find my prints I'm impressed! It's like it has a slick coating over it which also makes it easy to clean without leaving streaks. The fridge side keeps food cold evenly regardless of where you put an item this is where the fridge won me over every other fridge I have had always seems to have warm spots and cold spots for instance fridge doors usually never keep milk or juices cold enough or if you put items to the back of the fridge its likely to freeze the item With the Samsung I never had that problem and when looking for items that is no problem because the led lighting leaves no shelf dark everything is bright almost to bright actually would be great if you could adjust the brightness or if it had a sensor to adjust based on room brightness but that is minor. the fridge seems to swallow up everything and still leave room for more I really like side by side fridges because everything can be organized much better especially on the freezer side ice cream on one shelf frozen pizza on another and the ice maker doesn't take up half the space it just makes it easier to find something versus having to dig for it. I totally recommend this Samsung side by side fridge it looks fantastic it performs fantastic and the capacity is fantastic whether you have a big family or just you or two and will be sure to get praises at your next gathering

Great design but shuts off with power surges

I really like the design of this refrigerator, It's sleek and clean looking and I really like that it doesn't have a water dispenser. Our old refrigerator had a water dispenser and it was disgusting--there's just no way to wash them and so I'd rather use a filtered pitcher that I can wash. The only problem with this refrigerator is that we've lost power two times and each time the refrigerator does not turn back on. We have to wait for power to be restored, unplug the refrigerator and wait several minutes before plugging it back in. Our electric system is in perfect working order so I don't know why this would happen. Plus we never had this problem with our old refrigerator. We've been really lucky that we've been home when the power went out but this is really a huge problem if we have to worry about all our food rotting if we go out of town and the power goes out. I googled this problem and can't seem to find a solution. We put the refrigerator on a power strip with a surge protector and we're hoping this will fix it. If this doesn't work and we have to empty our fridge every time we travel, I will be very dissatisfied.

freezes items in the refrigerator

This fridge is only 2 months old, and was freezing my milk and lettuce at 37F. I turned up the thermostat one degree at a time. Still freezes in the fridge. I have turned the thermostat up to 44F and the temp reading in the fridge (I put my own thermometer in there) is still below freezing. The Samsung warranty service is so far the worst experience I have ever had with a new appliance. They were a no call no show for the service appointment and there is no way to communicate with a human being. I don't know how this is all going to play out but so far it is really bad. I do not recommend purchasing an appliance from Samsung directly. Use Home Depot or Lowes so that you can get service if you need it.

This is honestly the coolest refrigerator I've ever owned! The bright LED interior lighting makes it easy to see and find what you are looking for even at the back of the fridge. The 2 minute door alarm is convenient to remind you to close the door. I love that I can use Samsung SmartThings to control temperature and monitor my refrigerator even if I'm not home. It is super roomy, lots of space to fit all of my yummy goodies! There are 2 big drawers in the fridge and 1 drawer in the freezer which is super convenient. The fridge is easy to mark up and dent so I am constantly cleaning it. I recommend this product!

I became interested in this refrigerator as I was looking for one without a water dispenser and without the handles sticking out. This refrigerator was perfect! The bright LED lighting is very helpful when looking through the fridge and the 2-minute door alarm is handy. I love the modern look of this refrigerator. The controls are easy to read and easy to adjust. It compliments my kitchen well. I can fit a lot more in it than I anticipated and it is easy to keep the refrigerator organized. It is very easy to clean and the fingerprint resistant finish works well. It is very quiet and keeps stuff cold. I like how I can use the Samsung SmartThings App to help monitor the refrigerator. Thanks, Samsung, for another upgrade to my household! This clean and stylish refrigerator makes the kitchen look much more modern and could really fit in with any decor. I really like the "hidden" door handles that enhance the clean look. Lots more space than my last refrigerator in about the same footprint thanks to the counter-depth design. And it includes plenty of adjustable shelves to customize the cold storage space. I also really like the door alarm that alerts me if the door has been open for more than two minutes. It's very helpful if the door was left ajar. And the anti-fingerprint surface is great! I've had other stainless appliances that show every fingerprint and smudge and this refrigerator's finish is very forgiving in that department!

I received my appliance and was pleased with the whole process. The delivery went perfectly. The delivery company removed the old refrigerator with no problems. The side-by-side is beautiful, bright, and easy to set the temperatures. 9/22/2021- As we adjust to our new appliance we continue to be satisfied with the features of the Refrigerator. The temperature control settings were easy to program. The alarm when the door is not shut tight saved me a bad situation. One recommendation I would make is to have adjustability of the door shelves on the freezer side. As appliances need to be replaced, I will continue to look first at Samsung products.

Perfect fridge for our space

We wanted a fridge that was fairly basic and low maintenance but still looked high quality, and this fit the bill. It is quiet and sleek. We have a smaller kitchen so it was important to me to have something that didn't stick out from the counter but was still functional. I also love that the ice maker is in the freezer so I don't have to worry about any issues there. I also like that I can connect it to an app and adjust/monitor the fridge remotely in case a kid has left it open. This fridge is in our basement kitchen, so the app notifications about a door being left open or the ice maker being too full are extremely helpful since we go down there less often than our main kitchen and it's more likely to get left open by the kids. I have 4 kids under 6, so a fingerprint resistant fridge was a must. It is easy to clean and always looks good! I also love that it alerts me when the door has been left open too long because inevitably one of the kids has left the door open and its needs to get shut. It's exactly what we needed.

RS23A500ASG Is an excellent Samsung fridge with all rounder cooling. The fridge has excellent shelf space including door shelves. Its fingerprint resistant which is great as we dont need to keep cleaning the smudges. You can connect it to the wifi using the app; you can control the temperature through the app super easy. The freezer has plenty of space for your frozen foods. The lighting inside is great, you can spot your foods in the LED light easy. Samsung truly lives up to its name offering a very high quality product and experience. The installation of the fridge is easy. The stainless fit right in with my other appliances. Thoroughly enjoying the experience.

I had never used this brand in appliances and in refrigerators less. But the truth is that it surprised me in every way, it is a very spacious very spacious refrigerator. It is very easy to handle and more with the application, it is too easy to understand. The size of the freezer is incredible, it has many compartments and it is very easy to organize all my frozen foods and meats, and the ice dispenser is of a very good size, it makes them very fast and of a standard size. The drawers in the refrigerator area despite being only 2 are spacious. It is very easy to clean from the outside, very little marks are marked but when cleaning them with a simple cloth it is impeccable. The size of the refrigerator in general is high but not very wide that is good in my case since my kitchen is not very big and the less width my kitchen looks more spacious and with more space that I like a lot because the previous refrigerator I had it was very wide. Anyway, what I can simply say is that I really liked my new refrigerator and it arrived at the best time since the previous one I had was already in bad condition. The people who brought it in installed it very quickly and made it ready to use. The LED light is very clear and bright that's great so I can see everything with excellent visibility. The alarm is good to be aware of children who last a long time seeing that they are going to take out and eat. The app is very useful since with it I was able to regulate the temperature and turn off the part of the ice as it was full.

a very nice product at this price level. i like the minimalist styling. looks like more expensive refrigerators. quiet. i did experience a problem with a leak in the ice maker mechanism tubing. factory warranty service repaired it right away after ordering a part. fingerprint resistant stainless finish is very easy to maintain. i am happy with this purchase.

Needed a sleek looking sturdy cooling machine with minimal points of failure (like pull-out freezer drawers, water dispenser etc.) that was available for delivery quickly... found all of that in this. SmartThings connectivity helps track metrics like power consumption and how often the door was opened in addition to providing options to remotely change temps, start turbo cooling or the ice maker. We chose to buy shelf organizers because shelves cannot be moved - other than that - a solid cooling machine that should last a long time.
