So far the machines themselves are excellent. However we had a problem with delivery and Home Depot and LG blamed each other. After a couple hours on the phone we gave up on both people on the phones were nice but useless. We hired an independent contractor to install for $150.00. Not happy about that but at least he got it to stop rattling.

Cant choose your own temperature setting on dryer

The washer and dryer work fine. The problem is that on the dryer all of the temperature and other settings are preset and cant be changed. 99 of the time I dry my clothes on low temperature. There is no setting for low temperature drying other than timed dry without downloading from the app. The app looses connection to my wifi on a regular basis. Nothing else in my house looses internet connection. On laundry day it is common for me to have to delete the appliance from the app and reload it. Further this is a vacation home and our adult children vacation here too. So that means they have to download the app if they want to choose their own settings. I find it very frustrating that I cant just change the settings to my preference. The suggested dryer setting for all of my clothes is low so it blows my mind that low temperature drying is not a regular setting. Every single time I do laundry I lament out load- I hate this machine

I bought this washer and dryer tower in May and it has worked great. Quiet compared to most washer / dryers and has cleaned my clothes well. Settings appear to function well and the drums are clean and fresh. One negative I have found is that laundry fill pull out you cant easily pour into the back compartments. Overall a good machine the next test is longevity.

I had to get a replacement because inside the dispenser tray the mental was rushing away. It took lg months to replace it. Now where the rubber meets the metal on the dryer the paint is chipping off. Love the units not the experience

After ordering directly from LG we received a defective unit - the dryer did not heat at all. We were given the option of a repair or an exchange we opted for the exchange. After waiting yet another week for delivery we received a unit that works very well but is dented in the lower left corner of the washer. The dent is such that the access door for the washer drain appears to be open. We also had originally requested installation and haul off on the original order. The second delivery was drop only. We had to have someone come and complete the installation as we are not electricians and were not sure how to attach the dryers electrical cord. Also being 88 years old we were not certain we would be able to push the washer/dryer unit in place in the laundry room. While we are ultimately pleased with the new unit we are a bit disappointed with the whole acquisition experience. Especially disappointing was the ordeal we had to go through just to speak with a human being on the phone. We do not know if we wish to go through exchanging the dented unit for another but am not thrilled that we spent all this money and will see this dent daily for years to come.

LG is a BAD company

H O R R I B L E experience. Its pretty evident that LG does not care about their customers. I ordered the wash tower over a month ago and LG will not resolve the issue. According to them the delivery company has it. According to the delivery company it was never delivered. I have had 4 phone calls with LGs dead inside customer service to be told the same thing every time call back in 48-72 business HOURS. Ive emailed them three times with no response. Dont buy from them they dont care about your business.

Hot water valve doesnt work

The hot water valve on our washer has never worked. Ive gone back and forth with getting it fixed but we live remotely so its incredibly difficult to get someone out here to fix it so they sent the part which is also going to be incredibly difficult bc now I have to find and pay someone to help me move it and follow how to install it. I just hope it works after we finally get this done. We also live 6 hours away from where we bought it so we would need to find a trailer to try and return it and its risky bc what if the replacement doesnt work. Customer service has been helpful but its just really difficult on our end. I can update my review after we get the new part installed.

I bought this several weeks ago based on my daughters experience with an LG unit and am loving it. Now I cant wait to do laundry because of the ease and quality of this machine. It is quiet my floor no longer shakes like it did when my previous washer was in the spin cycle and can wash and dry quilts and heavy bedding and have them dry on the first cycle.

I am very happy with this unit. I was a little hesitant to purchase one unit instead of a stackable in terms of ever having to service the unit. I was pleasantly surprised that I am able to continue to do large loads when I need.

Makes the pipes bang

I have never had an issue with water pressure with old washer and dryer. The pressure coming into the house is 75lbs. The water co. we use checked it. A plumber also checked it. They each say it is related to how the washer is built. The sound is extremely loud and we will have to add a pressure reducer to correct. Why should we have to pay for an issue that is obviously a flaw in the way the machine is made? And do we want a water pressure reducer?? How will that effect other appliances?

LG Front load stack washer/dryer

We have not had this very long but so far I absolutely love it Love that all of the controls are in the middle between the dryer and washer. Im short so this is important It washes well and doesnt get all of the legs and arms twisted around each other. The lint screen is easy to access and easy to clean. I am a happy satisfied customer. Washer has Great roomy size.

Seems to work great for all size loads. Wish dryer had fluff or air only. Have had to experiment to remove stiffness from line dried items.
