I purchased this Professional Series Range without seeing it in person. I saw it on line and and called my local appliance store to get more information about it. After talking with the wonderful sales person I knew this was the range I was going to purchase! When it was delivered I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! And after using it and truly "breaking" it in this Thanksgiving I am beyond thrilled! It holds the temperature perfectly, And a big plus, knobs rather than the touch screen control panel! Yay! Two true convection choices, which I have never had on previous ranges, My turkey was cooked to perfection on the convection roast choice! I am looking forward to many years of delicious food!

The range is really nice. Quiet, quick to pre-heat, good multi-function, cooks evenly. Love the center burner feature we did not have before. Burners on stove top are good sized for all types of cooking needs. the only thing that we do not like are the exhaust vents above the oven door. just below the knobs. While venting the heat from the oven the knobs get "very warm" and are surprisingly hot when touching the knobs. It would be nice to have a "fix" for that. Otherwise, love the range.

I am glad I purchased my Frigidaire Professional! It looks great! The convection fan and air frying is so quiet you don™€™t even know it™€™s on! I™€™ve made pizzas that were perfectly baked on high temp! The probe feature was so easy to use and my roast was perfect on convection roast. The griddle was uniform and I made eggs, ham and toasted an English muffin all at once. It exceeds my expectations!

Pros AND Cons

My main criterion for choosing is that it does not have an electronic control panel, because I'm tired of replacing a whole range when the oven stops working, but can't be easily fixed. It does have a small panel where the set temp is displayed, the light is controlled and time displayed. If this panel goes out, I'll have to guess at oven temp, but it should at least still work. The racks inside the oven are set at funny heights. The lowest is quite high (but slides out wonderfully smoothly!), with the three slots above it so close together that it's impossible to heat two taller casserole dishes, as if you can leave enough space above the lower rack to fit one, the next rack up is too close to the top of the oven to fit another. It's possible to bake two racks of cookies. It seems to have been designed by theorists and sales team, rather than by actual cooks. I have used the air fry feature, which seems to work nicely; the rack is nice and large. It is awkward to have to remove that rack and find a place for it when not in use, as it is so large. The manual says not to put anything in the warming drawer, so I'm not quite sure what it's for then!? The burners are powerful; I'm still learning how to use them and not burn things. Overall, it's a good range, but I don't love it. For the price, there are a lot of quirks that affect actual cooking, which is what I bought it FOR.

My new 30™€ range ticked off all the boxes. I have an older home and I wanted a low to mid priced range that looked nice without breaking the bank and this model is that. It has an easy to clean surface, metal knobs that turn easily and won™€™t soften from the oven heat (yes that happened on my previous range), and all controls in the slide in model are on the front so no reaching over steaming pots for oven controls. Flames on all burners are even and very easy to control precisely including the large oval center burner with two burner adjustments. The 14 and 18 btu burners in front are large enough to boil water fast without hot spots. As the only identified downside there isn™€™t a wok ring with a 20-22 btu burner. The cast iron griddle is standard and also standard for the oven is an air fryer with basket, a temp probe and a sliding rack. The oven cooks evenly and is definitely an upgrade from my 15 yr old range as all modes including air fry, convection and normal cook well. This range has put the joy back in cooking!

Control Knobs get extremly HOT

Hello, we recently purchased this range and I have noticed that the control knobs get extremly hot when oven is on! I had to use oven mitts to change the temperature. I find this very upsetting, when I spoke with my slaes rep they said that is a problem and to reach out to you. This is our first purchase with Frigidaire and I'm not happy with this one!

Stove is great and has amazing uniform heat when cooking. Oven heats up fast.Had it for 1 week a a code popped up after using the oven. F16 - The oven user interface board cannot read the potentiometers. I unplugged it for 5min and it reset itself. Not sure if this is going to be an ongoing issue or not.

Beautiful range/oven. Very striking. Overall we are very satisfied with the stove. Our only concern is how easy it is to move the cook top controls and inadvertently turn burners on or leave the gas on. Just a slight bump and you can easily turn the gas on or ignite a burner. I looked for a way to "adjust" the sensitivity but didn't find anything. Otherwise a great choice for our kitchen.

I love my new range!! It works incredibly well. The only negative comment I have is that the temperature probe doesn't work as described in the manual. I have had to resort to using an external temperature probe.

Frigidaire Professional Front Control Gas Range with Air Fry

I love it, it's almost perfect. I wish there was some way to control the smoke that comes out of the oven, the grease from the food splashes on the base of the oven and this makes a lot of smoke, causing the smoke alarm to go off, it helps to have the kitchen door open, but In the winter, it is not possible.

I am so upset. Either this oven is a ™€œlemon™€ or it™€™s just a horrible appliance. We have used it about 5-8 times and have already gotten two error codes, the broiler doesn™€™t work, and it won™€™t heat up.
